Haddock Fillets Nutrition Facts
Pan-Fried Haddock Fillet
- 4 haddock fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Rinse the haddock fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge each fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until the butter is melted and the oil is hot.
- Add the haddock fillets to the skillet, skin side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
- Flip the fillets over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the haddock fillets with lemon wedges on the side.
