Buttery Sautéed Lobster Tail

Course Main Course

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh or frozen lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped (such as parsley, thyme, or dill)
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • lemon wedges: for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine half of the melted butter with the minced garlic and chopped fresh herbs in a small bowl. Set aside the remaining melted butter for basting.
  • Add half the melted butter sauce. Place the lobster tails in the skillet, meat side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the tails and cook for 2-3 minutes more, basting with the remaining butter sauce.
  • Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite side dishes.
