Seared Scalloped on Blackstone Griddle

Ingredients
  

  • fresh scallops
  • salt and pepper (or preferred seasoning)
  • oil or clarified butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Select the best scallops following the guidelines mentioned earlier
  • Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  • Pat dry the scallops and season them with a pinch of salt and pepper or your preferred seasoning.
  • Add a small amount of oil or butter to the griddle and spread it thinly and evenly.
  • Place the scallops on the griddle, and do not overcrowd the surface.
  • Cook the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a golden brown crust.
  • Flip the scallops using a spatula and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from the griddle, rest for a little bit, and serve.
