Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your air fryer to the recommended temperature for frying (usually around 375°F or 190°C).
- If you’re using frozen shrimp, make sure you thaw them thoroughly before proceeding. Once thawed, pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Prepare a breading station with three separate bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last one with seasoned breadcrumbs or panko.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper or any additional spices you desire.
- Dip each shrimp into the flour, shaking off any excess, then coat it with the beaten eggs.
- Press the eggy shrimp into the seasoned breadcrumbs or panko, ensuring an even and generous coating.
- Place the breaded shrimp in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are evenly spaced and not touching.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispiness.
- As soon as they are golden brown, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Serve the air-fried shrimp immediately and enjoy!
