Method
- Select the best scallops following the guidelines mentioned earlier
- Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
- Pat dry the scallops and season them with a pinch of salt and pepper or your preferred seasoning.
- Add a small amount of oil or butter to the griddle and spread it thinly and evenly.
- Place the scallops on the griddle, and do not overcrowd the surface.
- Cook the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a golden brown crust.
- Flip the scallops using a spatula and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from the griddle, rest for a little bit, and serve.
