When you place an order with Maine Lobster House, we do everything we can to ensure that your package arrives in excellent condition. All live lobsters are delivered fresh, guaranteed to arrive alive. They are packaged with gel packs in insulated coolers to keep the lobsters cool, and seaweed to keep the moisture in. Each lobster is separated to ensure they don't pile on top of each other, Our other seafood items are vacuum wrapped and flash frozen to lock in the flavor. OVERNIGHT DELIVERY WITH EVERY ORDER

All Maine Lobster House packages ship via overnight delivery. You will be able to select a delivery date on a special calendar upon checkout. Your package will arrive the next day after we ship your order. Because adverse conditions can sometimes affect shipments, your order may be shipped to arrive earlier than the requested delivery date.

STANDARD OVERNIGHT DELIVERY

All orders require one day to catch the fish or source the product from local fishermen. Order received by 4:00 p.m. (Central Time) weekdays will be processed the next business day and then shipped the following business day via UPS Overnight. Overnight Delivery is available Monday through Thursday for delivery Tuesday through Friday. You will be able to select a delivery date on a special calendar upon checkout. Because adverse conditions can sometimes affect shipments, your order may be shipped to arrive earlier than the requested delivery date.

The following Shipping Table outlines estimated shipping dates, based upon the day you place your order. The table is based on orders placed before 4 PM CT. Any orders placed after 4 PM CT, will be processed the following business day. We will make every attempt to adhere to the schedule outlined, but holidays, weather, and unforeseen circumstances can disrupt this schedule. All packages are authorized for release and will be left at the front door. Please track your package. All packages are guaranteed to be fresh up to 8 hours after their delivery time. Please plan accordingly and, if shipping a gift, inform the recipient of the expected delivery date. For orders shipping during holidays, please see the Holiday Table below.

*FWe will make every effort to ship orders within one business day, inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances may delay the delivery of orders. Please place orders in sooner rather than later.

Shipping Accuracy

Check your addresses carefully! Maine Lobster House reserves the right to make corrections and to limit refunds and replacements if an address error is made.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. An incorrect or incomplete shipping address voids our guarantee. Please verify all shipping addresses and provide a valid phone number for Shipping and Billing Addresses in the event a delivery issue arises.

Our guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. Maine Lobster House shipments are perishable, and we cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute the cooler. We guarantee delivery only to the provided address confirmed on the order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to limit refunds and replacements. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are provided, which are confirmed on the order confirmation.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING

UPS & FedEx anticipate major delays this holiday season. Select a delivery date before December 14 to avoid delays.

Due to heavy shipping volumes in December, we may shift package shipment dates. Because adverse conditions can sometimes affect shipments, your order may be shipped to arrive earlier than the requested delivery date. We are unable to guarantee day specific delivery.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We apologize, but due to high holiday order volume, for orders placed for delivery between Dec 1 and Dec 24, 2021, we cannot guarantee modifications during the two weeks prior to delivery.

IMPORTANT: IF DELIVERY REQUESTS FOR THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS REACH OUR RESERVATION LIMIT, we will provide alternate options to accommodate you:

  • Deliver the order before the week of Christmas (if available);
  • Deliver the requested order after December 29;
  • Deliver a product certificate before Christmas for redemption and delivery after Christmas. PLEASE NOTE: Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances can cause shipments to arrive later than expected. We will make every effort to have packages arrive on their requested date but are unable to guarantee day specific delivery. Please plan ahead and order early.
